Our approach is different from traditional psychiatry for a reason. It's because we are personalized, comprehensive, and deeply focused on root causes rather than quick symptom management. This level of care requires time, attention, and advanced testing that insurance companies typically do not cover.
Here’s why:
Extended, unrushed visits: We spend significantly more time with each client—often 60–90 minutes per session—so we can truly understand your history, lifestyle, and unique needs. Insurance models are built around short, standardized visits, which don’t allow for this depth.
In-depth functional labs: We use advanced testing to uncover underlying contributors to anxiety and depression, such as hormone imbalances, nutrient deficiencies, gut health issues, and inflammation markers. These tests go far beyond what insurance considers “medically necessary,” so they are not reimbursed.
Customized care plans: Instead of a one-size-fits-all prescription, we create a tailored plan that may include nutrition, supplementation, lifestyle strategies, and mind-body techniques. This individualized approach requires more time and expertise than traditional models.
Freedom from insurance limitations: By operating outside insurance constraints, we can prioritize your health—not billing codes. This means no rushed appointments, no unnecessary restrictions, and no compromise on quality.
